Pearl barley = ?? yee mee (Mandarin) or yee mai (Cantonese)
Water chestnut = ?? ma tee (Mandarin) or ma tai (Cantonese)
Beancurd stick = ?? fu chook (Mandarin or Cantonese)
Sugar water (or more appropriately as sweet dessert soup) = ?? tang sui (Mandarin) or tong sui (Cantonese)
